Kilcullen vigil for Ashling Murphy tomorrow

A vigil to remember and honour Ashling Murphy, who died after being attacked while out running in Tullamore yesterday, will be held at the Dun Ailinne monument in Kilcullen tomorrow, Friday 14 January.

The vigil will begin at 4.30pm, and everybody is welcome. The event is one of many being held around the country tomorrow, including  outside Dail Eireann in Dublin.

Ashling was a teacher and a traditional musician in Tullamore. The attack took place along the Grand Canal while she was out jogging at a popular local leisure location.
