Kilcullen GAA 'lights up' for Operation Transformation.
Do you want to get moving and active this New Year, but you have nowhere to go?. Do you find it hard to find a safe and well-lit area to go walk during the dark winter months?
Well, Kilcullen GAA has the answer! The popular ‘Ireland Lights Up’ walking initiative returns tonight, Thursday 27 January 2022, in partnership with Kilcullen GAA, Operation Transformation, and Get Ireland Walking.
Every Thursday until 24 February 2022, Kilcullen GAA Training pitch floodlights will be lit up from 8pm–9pm in order to facilitate this. Registration will start at 7.45pm and the walk starts at 8pm. Ballygowan water will be served during and after the walk sponsored by Britvic Ireland.
We want everyone to come and join for Ireland Lights Up 2022. Please make sure to have your walking gear with bright hi-viz vest or clothing at all times when walking. If you don’t have hi-viz, Kilcullen GAA will provide on the night.
For further information contact Liam Cronin on 087 9680399. All are welcome to come to this event, you don’t have to be a Kilcullen GAA club member.
