Two new Christmas songs from Brendan Graham
Those of us from the Class of 1962 in Newbridge College will remember classmate Brendan Graham, who became one of Ireland's greatest songwriters, writes Brian Byrne.
A new song from Brendan is Tune of the Week on RTE and is raising funds for displaced Syrian refugee children in Lebanon. The song, Hush, Be Still, A Christmas Lullaby, is a collaboration by Brendan and Cavan-born Anúna singer Róisín O'Reilly.
The seasonal song will raise funds for Fr William Stuart's school in south Lebanon. You can buy the single here, and donate to the cause here.
Another new Christmas song from Brendan's pen is a co-production with Eimear Quinn for whom he originally wrote her Eurovision song The Voice. This is Winter Solstice, which you can hear here.
