Debris and water on the local roads

Take it handy if you're driving around the area today. There's already a lot of debris and standing water on the roads, like the flooding above at Milemill Cross, writes Brian Byrne.

As is being advised, unless you have to go somewhere, it's best to stay home. Also, take your wheelie bins in, I came across a number blown out on the roads.

It's the first storm of the year, and a lot of tree boughs, even full trees, are likely to come down. You don't want to be driving under them.
