Seats on the way for Community Garden

Seats have been ordered for the Community Garden in the Library grounds and should be in place in a couple of weeks, writes Brian Byrne.

Martin Sheridan told the recent meeting of Kilcullen Community Action that a bulb-planting session will be organised when the seats are installed. Two old churns have been painted up and will be placed in the garden to add character.

Compliments were paid to the team who built up the garden over the last couple of years. KCA chair Anne Cashman said the upcoming seats will be a 'fabulous' addition, while Mark Reid noted that it is only a few years since the area was 'just a place for litter'.
