Material Contravention proposed for new Dunlea's showroom
Kildare County Council is proposing a Material Contravention of the Kilcullen Local Area Plan 2014-2020 in order to facilitate the granting of planning permission for the erection of a motors showroom at Brownstown, Kilcullen, writes Brian Byrne.
The application is by Bella Enterprises, trading as Dunlea's of Kilcullen, for the site on the Naas side of the Link Business Park, Planning Register Reference 21/902.
In a notice published today, the Council says the development is on lands zoned 'H: Industry and Warehousing' where the proposed motor sales use would not normally be permitted under the land use zoning matrix.
Particulars of the development may be inspected, by appointment only, at Aras Chill Dara, or online at kildarecoco.ie.
Submissions may be made using the online consultation portal at consult.kildarecoco.ie or in writing only, to the Senior Executive Officer, Planning Department, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co Kildare, W91X77F, to be received not later than 4pm on Sunday 19 December 2021.
