Applications open for Tess Lambe Bursary

The Tess Lambe Bursary is now open for applications. The bursary will be awarded to two female students of the CPC Leaving Certificate Class of 2021 (those who did the Leaving Certificate last June) who are studying any STEM subject at third level. It can be any science related subject ranging from Nursing, Engineering, Astrophysics, Science, Pharmacy, IT, Forestry, Agricultural Science, etc.
The first step in applying is to send an expression of interest by email to tesslambebursary@gmail.com. An application form will then be sent which must be returned by January 10th 2022. Each successful student will receive €500 and will travel to Oxford to see the work being done by Teresa at the Jenner Institute in Oxford University.
Teresa is a past pupil of Cross and Passion College and her parents Mary and Anthony still live in Nicholastown.
Donations to the fund can be made at Kilcullen Credit Union or on line to the Tess Lamb Bursary Fund, IBAN IE02KIRI99217910400892. The fund was established to give Kilcullen people a way of honouring the great work done by Teresa in Oxford.
