Albert Keenan back to winning ways

Kilcullen man Albert Keenan swapped his digging in the mud to running in the mud to secure the Men’s over-70 County Kildare cross country title on Sunday last.

As, like many athletes, Albert hadn’t raced in almost two years due to the covid pandemic, he was delighted to be back racing and the gold medal was an added bonus.

Albert now goes on to race the Leinster Cross Country Championships in the coming weeks as part of the Newbridge AC club and Kildare County team.
