A reminder that a scrap metal collection is taking place this weekend by the Ballyshannon Action Group, as part of their fundraising for a Judicial Review of the decision to allow Kilsaran to quarry at Racefield, writes Brian Byrne.

Over Friday 24 to Sunday 26 September, there are collection points for various kinds of scrap. All metals are welcome, including steel, iron, machines, tools, metal from construction and farms and industry, bicycles, old car part and copper. The full list of acceptable materials and items is available here.

Collection points are at the following postcodes — copper: R56 W226; everything else: R56 DC13,  R56 HR65 and R56 W208.

A door to door collection is also available, call Jim on 086 8251165 for more information.
