Fundraiser football game in Kilcullen on Saturday

A fundraiser game will be played by St Anthony's Youths FC, based at Kilcullen Community Centre, on Saturday next to help the family of 11-year-old Lucy Fleming from Newbridge who died last Sunday.

Lucy passed away after a short battle with cancer, having been previously diagnosed with Brain Stem Glioma only two weeks ago.

The game will be between St Anthony's and Wexford Bohemians, at the Kilcullen Astro pitch, with kick0ff at 5.15pm.

Admission is €5 at the gate, and there will be a popup shop on site for further fundraising. Any local businesses who want to donate something to the shop can contact the club on their Facebook page. There is also a GoFundMe page — Help Lil Lucy.
