Date set for 2021 Jimmy's Gig

The late Jimmy Aspell and Brush Shiels rock it out in 2017.

The Jimmy Aspell cancer benefit night will take place in The Spout on Friday 29 October. This year's event is in aid of Niall Doran.

Known as 'Jimmy's Gig', it is named after the late Jimmy Aspell of Kilcullen, who raised large amounts for cancer support from 2010 before he died himself of the disease in January 2018. One of his biggest supporters at the events was fellow musician Brush Shiels.

Because of covid regulations, there will be just one band this year, Panic Animal.
