Reward offered for return of stolen sheep

A reminder that Gardai are investigating the larceny of 40 sheep from land at Harristown two weeks ago, and a reward has been offered by the owner for their return or for information leading to their return, writes Brian Byrne.

The sheep, which were shorn in June, have a blue mark on their shoulder and are easily identified as they are tagged. They were part of a larger flock on the property.

It's understood that without a genuine flock number they will be difficult to dispose of through mart or factory.
