Woodbine in 'The Troubles With Us' discussion

A Zoom discussion co-hosted by Woodbine Books on Tuesday 13 July will feature journalist and broadcaster Alix O'Neill and her new book The Troubles With Us.

Organised in conjunction with fellow A Tale of Three Indies collective Antonia's Bookstore, Trim, and The Maynooth Bookshop, the event will begin at 8pm.

Tickets at €5-€20 each include discounts on purchase of the book, and can be booked at Eventbrite.

The book is described as a 'hilarious memoir about growing up in Northern Ireland in the 90s towards the end of the Troubles' and is carried by the extraordinary background story of Alix's mother.

Those who book but who can't watch on the night will be able to access a recording of the event afterwards.
