Trucks incident disrupts Sunnyhill Road

Traffic on the Sunnyhill Road has been disrupted today following an incident involving two trucks, writes Brian Byrne.

We have no official details of the incident, but this photo sent in a short time ago by a resident on the road shows efforts ongoing to untangle the vehicles.

Another resident says the road is simply too narrow for two trucks to pass. There has been ongoing angst in the area about the road being used as a 'rat run' for traffic between the Athy Road and Newbridge.

Traffic has been diverted through Kilcullen.
