Skunk Cabbage doesn't sound like something you'd like to have on your dinner plate ... and indeed it certainly isn't. But it is an invasive plant species that has the potential to damage river systems.
A pilot project on the Liffey by Kilcullen resident and ecologist Dr Jan Baars is working out a plan to deal with it.
