New signage later in summer - KCA

A Kilcullen area map for a Tourist Information Sign to be installed outside the Heritage Centre and Town Hall is at an advanced stage of preparation, the recent AGM of Kilcullen Community Action heard, writes Brian Byrne.

The map will be the centrepiece of the sign and is being prepared by Sean Sourke, who designed the map for the Kilcullen Camino project.

Noel Clare told the meeting that two more biodiversity information signs for the Valley park are also close to being completed, and there is also a heritage sign for New Abbey on the way.

These, and the new town signs for the approach roads, should be in place later in the summer, Noel hopes.

Support funding for the signage is coming from the Kildare Leader Partnership, and Noel expressed his thanks for the work by local councillors in getting applications and documentation through the system.
