Lots of online book launches co-hosted by Woodbine

A number of upcoming online launches co-hosted by Woodbine Books and their colleagues in the A Tale of Three Indies collective should keep book lovers happy, writes Brian Byrne.

Tomorrow at 8pm is the launch of Lynn Buckle's new novel, What Willow Says and Lynn will be chatting to author and playwright John McKenna. The free event is in association with Epoque Press and the three 'Indies' — Woodbine Books, Antonia's Bookstore in Trim and the Maynooth Bookshop. Tickets at Eventbrite.

On Thursday 3 June, the Indies will be hosting Rónán Hession, author of this year's One Dublin One Book selection Leonard and Hungry Paul. The event will discuss this and his new book Panenka. Tickets at Eventbrite are €5-€18.80.

A Conversation with Myles Dungan is the feature on Tuesday 8 June, where he will discuss his new book Four Killings. Again at Eventbrite, tickets are €5-€19.60.

On Wednesday 23 June, it's the turn of debut Irish authors Louise Nealon and Jamie O'Connell in a celebration of Independent Bookshop Week 2021 with Griffin Books in Wales. This is a Zoom event and tickets can be booked here.  The cost is €5/€5 per household which can be discounted on book purchases.

And, or course, all the books involved will be available from Woodbine Books.
