A reader is looking for a short term rent of a house with four bedrooms for approximately a week around 20-27 May in the Kilcullen area, to accommodate relatives coming for a family event. Call 085 1447988 if you can help.

Today will be mostly cloudy. Scattered outbreaks of light rain easing later. Highs of up to 11 degrees locally in a light west to southwest breeze. Lingering rain and drizzle will clear northwards tonight.

In contrast to the prior glamorous advertising of beauty and power in the sector, it emphasised utility and made a virtue of the car's simple design.

PARISH LOTTO

The Kilcullen & Gormanstown Parish Lotto Draw is held at 8pm each Tuesday in the Parish Centre. This is a public event to which all are welcome. There's a prize draw each night for those attending. Details of previous Draws are here.
