For anyone who missed out on the Daily Cast podcasts during the past week, they can catch up on them here, writes Brian Byrne.

The format includes a regular look at a Person of Interest from the past, and during the week included Mayo lighthouse keeper Ted Sweeney, who is credited with saving D-Day in WW2 from being a disaster.

Our Feature of the Day interviewees were Tony Kirwan on his latest song Just Another Day in Paradise, Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer on the need for biodiversity to be part of every conversation with KCC, Sally McCaffrey talking about the Kildare West Wicklow SPCA in a pandemic, Noella Beaumont on her language summer camp plans, and Brian Fallon on eating outdoors as we move towards more normal times.
