New wildflower meadow completed

Seeds for a new wildflower meadow have been sown in the long area of ground beside the walkway from the Community Centre to the back of CPC, writes Brian Byrne.

Volunteers and workers with Kilcullen Community Action have spent a year preparing the site, previously rough grass.

Establishing wildflower meadows in estates and on roadside verges is part of the Kilcullen Biodiversity Action Plan, which can be accessed here.
