Another blank business space on main street

Another gap has appeared in the Kilcullen business streetscape with the closing of the premises of Emerald Bloodstock Services Ltd, writes Brian Byrne.

The company was set up some 20 years ago by Brendan Gallagher and his wife Olive Taffe, and sold in 2009 to Bloodhorse Insurance Services Ltd when the Gallaghers relocated to Kentucky, USA.

The Emerald Bloodstock Services Ltd registered business name became the property of Emerald Equine Limited, established in 2009. A liquidator was appointed to Emerald Equine in January of last year.

The new address for Kelly Equine Services Ltd, EBIB Insurances Ltd, and Newhall Properties Ltd is Lawlors Business centre, Lawlors Hotel, Poplar Square, Naas, Co Kildare W91 Y65N.
