A year on, The Spout recalls happier times

There's a nice short video here produced by The Spout to mark a year since they closed their doors because of the pandemic. As Tommy Dignam says, they thought it would only be for a couple of weeks ...

"It's a reminder of some of the happier times we’ve had in The Spout, doing fundraising events and on our many outings," he says. "We hope it shows in our own small way to the powers that be that our industry is not disposable."

The message is to the Spout and Kilcullen community, but also specifically for TDs Micheál Martin, Leo Varadkar, Martin Heydon, Cathal Berry, Patricia Ryan, and the Vintners' Federation of Ireland. #notdisposable
