Busy week for singer Megan O'Neill

Ballymore singer Megan O'Neill, a former student at CPC Kilcullen, was a guest on the RTE 1 Today show on Tuesday afternoon.

Her new single, a cover of the Jim Croce  hit Time in a Bottle, also featured in Episode 1 of the new Netflix series Firefly Lane, released yesterday. You can hear the song here.

At Christmas her rendition of Fairytale of New York gained a lot of attention, for her trademark haunting style that gave it a very original feeling. Time in a Bottle provides the same sense.

Megan has carved out an international career in Americana and Alt Country music through the last decade. Her songwriting successes include Don’t You, which featured on hit ABC TV show Nashville. Megan has also performed multiple times at the prestigious Bluebird Café in Nashville and, before coronavirus, was a regular performer at key festivals in the UK, as well as having many live radio gigs on the BBC on her continuing list of achievements.
