Owner of New Abbey Stud has died

The owner of New Abbey Stud, Prince Khalid Abdullah, has died at the age of 83.

From Saudi Arabia, his Irish operations managed by Juddmonte Farms include New Abbey, Ferrans Stud and Culcor Estate.

He was one of the most successful breeders and owners in the global equine industry, with more than 500 Stakes winners carrying his colours.
