Looking Back: The Geraldine Clifford School of Dancing (and about Muhammad Ali)

Here's one for the memories, sent in by Mary Callaghan.

It's the Geraldine Clifford School of Dancing, pictured in the John F Kennedy Hall, and Mary says she'd be reluctant to put a year on it. But she wonders if any of group also remember being in Dublin when Muhammad Ali was in the city?

"I can't remember for certain," she says, "but I think we were at a dancing competition and it coincided with the boxer's visit."

All names and memories welcome.

ED Note: It was the summer of 1972 that Muhammad Ali was in Dublin, brought there by publican and ex-circus strongman Butty Sugrue for a match with Al 'Blue' Lewis, whom he defeated in the 11th round.
