'Follow timetable from home', CPC students told

CPC Principal Joe Leonard.

Students at Cross and Passion College are being urged to follow their normal class timetable while working remotely from home during the Level 5 closure of the College premises, writes Brian Byrne.

From tomorrow, 11 January, students are expected to engage in some work related to each subject at the relevant time, either set by the teacher or attending an online live or recorded lesson.

Detailed instructions on the provision of remote learning have been sent to parents and students by the Principal, Joe Leonard. He emphasises that by following the timetable from their homes, it will give structure to the stdents' day and avoid clashes between subjects.

Acknowledging that exam classes will have a number of questions around deadlines, projects, oral exams, mock exams, CBAs etc, Principal Leonard says they are still awaiting guidance on this from the Department of Education.

"In the meantime try not to let these concerns distract you from the need to engage with the work your teachers provide," he says in his communication. "I will communicate any updates as soon as I receive them."

All details have gone out to parents and students via the school app. This app can be downloaded free through the links on cpckilcullen.com.
