Curragh Lawn residents and staff Covid vaccinations today

Curragh Lawn Nursing Home residents and staff will be offered the Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccine today, writes Brian Byrne.
The vaccines have arrived and are properly stored after days and weeks of preparation in consultation with the HSE.
Curragh Lawn is the first private nursing home in the HSE's CHO area 7 to receive the vaccine. The area represents Kildare/ West Wicklow, Dublin West, Dublin South City, and Dublin South West.
In a Facebook post the facility says they are 'honoured and very excited to be part of this momentous fight against COVID-19'. "For our Residents it ensures their safety and freedom to get back to doing the activities they love most and obviously seeing family and friends with less restriction. For our Staff it means we have almost reached the end of a very difficult year."
