CPC student achieves TCD Entrance Award

Fiona Ose Eguare, a Cross and Passion College student, is one of 527 students from around the country who have won Trinity College Entrance Exhibition Awards, writes Brian Byrne.

She was among 29 students from second level colleges throughout Kildare to receive the awards for excellence. This year, due to the pandemic restrictions, the awards were presented virtually for the first time.

The recipients were from every county in Ireland as well as from 15 EU countries. The awards go to students accepted into the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree programme who achieve the highest points among Trinity entrants from their secondary school, above a minimum of 500 CAO points.

Trinity Provost Dr Patrick Prendergast congratulated each student and wished them well in their studies.
