Tidy Towns photo competition

The SuperValu Tidy Towns photo competition closes on Friday 20 November, so it's time to get entries together, writes Brian Byrne.

Open to all Tidy Towns groups and to individual entries associated with a group, the competition is looking for photographs that capture the ethos of Tidy Towns, or perhaps feature a project which has been completed by a Tidy Towns initiative.

There are cash prizes of €150 and €75 to be paid to the winner and runner up Tidy Towns group associated with the photographs. A Junior category for 12-18 year-olds have individual prizes of €75/€50.

Photographs should be emailed to tidytowns@drcd.gov.ie stating which TidyTowns group you are from or if you are entering the junior element.
