Continuing drop in Newbridge LEA infections


The Covid-19 infection rate in the Newbridge Local Electoral Area has fallen further, and was at 95.8 per 100,000 population for the 14 days up to 9 November, writes Brian Byrne.

This compares to 115.6  for the 14-day period to 2 November as reported on on the Covid-19 Ireland Data Hub.

The national infection rate at 155.5 is substantially down from the 228.0 reported seven days previously.

Kilcullen is part of the Newbridge LEA. The rates in neighbouring LEAs are Naas 168.7 (previously 242.8), Athy 82.9 (Previously 139.4), Baltinglass 34.4 (Previously 76.4) and Kildare 77.8 (previously 128.4).
