Maynooth University project to help community, schools, and business groups
Organisations involved with community, youth, charity, and the voluntary sector could benefit from collaboration with Maynooth University's Project Live, writes Brian Byrne.
The initiative from the University's Experiential Learning Office will involve academics and students engaging with such groups, as well as with schools and businesses. It is envisaged that the interactions will benefit both the University's curriculum and the external groups engaged with.
Typically, participating organisations and groups will propose projects with which students can get involved, in the process gaining credits towards their courses. Full details of the project and how to engage with it are available here.
A webinar on 22 October from 1pm-1.30pm will provide full details of the project. Registration can be made here for the event.
