'Constant' stream of market customers

The Kildare Makers Market was in the Leinster Marts car park again this morning, with 'a constant trickle' of people coming and going, according to one stallholder, writes Brian Byrne.

"Kilcullen is like that," he added. "And you can't predict how it will go … you could have 80 people and sell nothing, and five people and have a great day. There's no algorithm can work it." True. Anyway, algorithms are over-rated.

Meantime, Crean's Place sold out of their bakery and pastries. "We did better than we expected," they said.
