More magic in the morning
Patience, perseverance, and a little hope … that's what photographers often rely on, writes Brian Byrne.
They paid off again this week with the Autumn Equinox at the Dun Ailinne monument, when I got these shots this morning, just three days after the actual Equinox.
Fog, cloud and rain had gotten in the way on previous days … and I was worried this morning about that bank of cloud building over the mountains. But it all worked out.
It's still a bit of Noel Scullion's magic, even after all the years I have gotten similar pictures. Now, could we petition whatever agency put up those wires a couple of years ago, to bury just that small stretch? Then we'd be getting what we used to.
