Give the flowers a smiling goodbye

As we're well into the autumn cool now, it's time to say goodbye to the window-boxes colour through the town from Kilcullen In Bloom 2020, writes Brian Byrne.

In the summer that it was, the displays that were the work of Kilcullen Community Action volunteers and their supporters amongst the town's residents and businesses made a huge difference to morale for everyone. 

While some of the hanging baskets are still at their best, the window-boxes will be taken down over the coming week or so. Give the flowers a smile of appreciation as you pass by in the meantime.
