'Walking stones' suggestion for Valley

The possibility of placing 'walking stones' in the grass at the main green area in the Valley park was raised at last week's meeting of Kilcullen Community Action, writes Brian Byrne.

Antoinette Buckley made the suggestion during a discussion on new seats and tables which are to be placed in the park. She said it would make it easier for people to safely walk down the slope.

It was also noted that it would help those with buggies bringing their children down to the pond, the river, and the fairy house.

No decision was made.
