A breezy day with showery outbreaks of rain at first. The rain will clear to scattered showers and sunny spells by afternoon. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty northwest winds.

DID YOU KNOW?

The oldest known face-depiction masks are an estimated 9,000 years old with one of the best-preserved found in the Palestine West Bank in 2018. The mask is made from limestone and it's thought was used in ornamentation for ceremonies. Other early masks have been found in South Korea and the Old Kingdom of Egypt, made from shells and papyrus-plaster respectively.

Tasty repair works

Two nice repair jobs done this week — above the wall over the Valley on the New Abbey Road, and below the new legs on the seat in the Valley.
