STEPtember promotes walking Kildare's canals

A reminder that Kildare's first 'walking month' runs through September, under the label of STEPtember and is organised by the Kildare Sports Partnership, writes Brian Byrne.

It replaces the annual Kildare Walking Festival and is designed to promote the many scenic canal walks across the county.

There are 15 stages in all, and those who complete six of them will receive a Kildare Sports Partnership snood.

Registration for the initiative is available here, and those participating are asked to adhere to all social distancing and Covid-19 protocols.
