Back to school ... at last!

The back to school day finally arrived for teachers, children, and parents at Scoil Bhride this morning, writes Brian Byrne.

With the procedures well flagged in advance by Principal Anne Flanagan and her team, everybody was prepared, and it looked to be moving very smoothly.

There was lots of praise for how the school has prepared, and lots of relief that the most talked about item of the last few weeks (leaving out the golf event) has now got going in earnest. Parents were delighted, perhaps a little apprehensive, about ending the longest school break in recent Irish history. And the pupils? Looking forward to meeting with their friends again.
