Useful waste booklet from Council

Kildare County Council has produced a very useful and easily understood booklet 'Don't Waste It!' to help people manage waste and prevent litter at work, writes Brian Byrne.

The booklet, available here as a downloadable pdf, includes information on 'man with the van' illegal waste collections, burning of waste, litter and much more, including enforcement procedures and penalties.

Dog fouling gets its own space, highlighting the serious effects this can have on human health, especially to children who may be more directly exposed to the dog waste not cleaned up by owners.
