Cycle for Crumlin cancelled due to pandemic

The annual Cycle for Crumlin organised by Murphy Surveys Ltd has been cancelled for this year, writes Brian Byrne.

The event has over the last six years raised €87,000, but the company says it has cancelled the planned 2020 event in order to prioritise the health and safety of everyone involved.

The company will be donating to CMRF Crumlin in the knowledge of the challenges faced by charities due to the current circumstance and will also be organising internal events to help raise further funds.

"We would encourage our clients and friends to do the same to support this great cause," Murphy Surveys say in a Facebook post. "We look forward to seeing everyone next year."
