Big response to Pieta candles initiative
Lorna Brophy and Richie Kelly say that some 500 candles have already been bought for the initiative, and anyone who still wants to buy one can do so today at The River Cafe.
The candles will remain on the bridge all day Saturday for those who would like to go along to say a prayer or a few words.
The idea replaces the annual Dawn Walk through New Abbey Stud.
