Kilcullen residents in 'Roar for Ruairi' campaign

On 13-14 June, members of Naas Triathlon Club will attempt to cycle the equivalent distance to the coastline of Ireland while staying within the current government guidelines, writes the club's Donna Barry, covering over 3,000km in the process. A number of Kilcullen residents are members of the club.

This effort is to raise funds for the Roar for Ruairi campaign. Ruairi McDonald is a 6-year-old boy from Clane who has been diagnosed with a rare degenerative disease.

All proceeds will go directly to the McDonald family to make necessary renovations to their home and to help with home care costs for Ruairi.
