21 Covid cases in Kilcullen and Carnalway EDs since beginning

Note: The red square represents the whole ED, not the location on the map.
There have been ten cases confirmed of Covid-19 in the Kilcullen Electoral Division since the crisis began, writes Brian Byrne.

This is the information in a more detailed report from the Ireland Covid-19 Data Hub now available to the public here.

There were 11 confirmed cases in the Carnalway ED which includes much of Kilcullen on the Naas side of the bridge. Six cases are recorded in the Ballyshannon ED.

The Data Hub emphasises that a high proportion of such cases will have fully recovered within a 14 day period.

Of 1,436 cases confirmed in County Kildare to date, Naas Urban District had the highest number at 228, with 24 cases in Newbridge Urban.

The data hub is a collaboration between the Department of Health, Ordnance Survey Ireland, the All-Island Research Observatory, HPSC, HSE and the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
