WEATHER

A dry, cold and bright start this morning with frost in places. Remaining dry and sunny for most through the day, before cloud begins to build from the west later this evening. Highest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees in a light variable breeze.

DID YOU KNOW?

Desert sand dunes are known to 'sing', in some cases making sounds as loud as those heard in a concert hall. It's believed the sounds are produced when air pushes through millions of sand grains as they tumble into new positions during certain weather conditions.

The Kilcullen & Gormanstown Parish Lotto Draw is held at 8pm each Tuesday in the Parish Centre. This is a public event to which all are welcome. There's a prize draw each night for those attending. Details of previous Draws are here.
