Tennis Club reopens, with restrictions, next Monday

Kilcullen Tennis Club in Logstown are delighted to be re-opening the courts on the 18th May and look forward to starting the new tennis season with you all, writes the Club's Niamh Crosbie. We do, however, want to do our utmost to ensure the safety and well-being of all our members.

We have met as a committee and have reviewed all advice from Tennis Ireland on ensuring social distancing, hand hygiene and player safety. We have come up with the following list of guidelines to be followed by all members. Please read carefully and ensure you are familiar with all of the guidelines before coming to the club. These guidelines will remain in place for the remainder of Phase 1 of the Roadmap for Reopening Society.

You may not come to the club if you have been overseas or in contact with someone with Covid-19 in the past 14 days or if you have flu-like symptoms or are feeling unwell.

Only players who live within 5km of the club are permitted to play.

Singles matches only are allowed during this phase. (Doubles matches are only allowed if doubles partners are members of the same household.)

Each player must have his/her own set of balls which must be clearly marked.

The clubhouse will remain closed at all times.

Hand sanitiser has been fixed at the entrance to each court.

New members offer
New members living within 5 km of the club are now welcome with two months free - 14 months membership for the price of 12. For more details on this offer, please email ktcmembershipmail@gmail.com

NewBox League
We are delighted to announce that we will be starting a new box league in the coming weeks. This is open to all student and senior members and some of our older junior members. If you are interested in signing up, please text Pete Ronayne on 087 6818042 by Monday 18th May.

We look forward to seeing you all on the courts soon and to a great season ahead!
