Looking Back: Community Centre Parade?

This is a really bad rescue from one of those old negatives of mine, writes Brian Byrne. But it dates the series from the parade at 1982, I think, and the opening of the Kilcullen Community Sports & Recreation Centre.

That looks like the head of Paddy Power TD on the back of Brennan's lorry, and he opened it as far as I remember.

I know I took a lot of photos of that opening, but I don't have any of them any more. I would have given them away to people concerned.

(I'm hoping to be able to do a better job on these when a small piece of equipment arrives next week.)
