Kilcullen In Bloom flowers arrive

The flowers for Kilcullen In Bloom have arrived and will be planted in the window boxes and planters over the coming weekend, writes Brian Byrne.

The windowboxes will be installed over the June Bank Holiday weekend in a Covid-safe way by KCA volunteers.

This year Kilcullen Community Action is relying on a GoFundMe page to raise the money to pay for the annual project that does so much to brighten the town in summer. Normal fundraising such as the street collection is not available, and business support is likely to be affected by the Covid economic fallout.
