Kilcullen Gospel Choir in salute to Covid victims, health workers

Members of Kilcullen Gospel Choir took part in a combined choirs presentation of The Parting Glass on last night's episode of Ireland On Call on RTE One, writes Brian Byrne.

Each member of the choir recorded their own rendition of the song and along with contributions from other participating choirs they were amalgamated in a tribute to those who have died from Covid-19 and the health workers who have been treating patients.

The choirs involved were The Dublin Gospel Choir, The Park Singers, Dublin; Discovery Gospel Choir, Dublin; Kilcullen Gospel Choir; Codetta, Derry; CanBelto Women's Choir, Dublin; Madrigallery Chamber Choir, Waterford; Dublin Social Choir; and Shannon Gospel Choir.
