Kilcullen Gospel Choir in multiple choirs 'Ireland on Call' episode

Members of both choirs sent in individual recordings of The Parting Glass, and then the editors in RTE have pulled together a combined performance of the song along with some other choirs. "The proceedings were coordinated by Orla Fallon from the Dublin Gospel Choir," says Frances Clare from the Kilcullen group.
Local viewers might have to be quick to spot individual Kilcullen group members, but the programme can always be reviewed on the RTE Player.
"There's not much else happening with the choir, unfortunately," Frances says. "We have been doing our regular Tuesday night practice over Zoom, with our director Lorraine Nolan. But it's not the same, and we're all missing meeting up with our good friend Kevin at Camphill, who normally joins us on our practices in the Artaban Hall."
The Kilcullen choir will be ceasing for the summer break shortly, and everyone hopes they'll be back in some format in the autumn.
"In the meantime, our present motto is: Keep Safe, Keep Singing."
