Calverstown author's Examiner biodiversity article

An article on biodiversity-friendly gardens in the Irish Examiner by Calverstown environmental author Juanita Browne is well worth taking ten minutes or so to peruse, writes Brian Byrne.

Produced as part of the newspaper's Sustainability Month initiative, the writer recalls how she was interested in nature and wildlife from a very early age, when she would catch moths in her big sister's bedroom and release them through the window.

The article is allied to the recent Gardening for Biodiversity publication produced for the Local Authority Heritage Officer network by Juanita and illustrator Barry Reynolds.

A 32-page supplement on Gardening for Biodiversity will be given free in Saturday's Irish Examiner.
